Letter to Alia, July 2023

Hello Alia,

It’s now July 2023 and your “father” still won’t let you see me. 

Why? Probably because of his ego, but we don’t know, really.

I am writing this letter today to tell you once again that everything is done on my side to put an end to this situation.

I’m fighting for you and for your rights, and I’m not alone in this. 

Your whole family on your mother’s side is fighting for you, our friends are fighting for you, associations are fighting for you, and even dozens of strangers are fighting for you!

You weren’t abandoned, whatever they try to make you believe in Algeria. We never stopped fighting for you.

Whatever they tell you, whatever they do to you, know that you will always have support in France. Besides, you also have support in Algeria, a lot of people who are ready to help you find your mom as soon as possible.

Whatever lies you were fed by your kidnappers, there will always be a place for you in France with your family.

You will always have family, friends, housing, money, chances for your future here with me. 

We are all waiting for you, and you will always have the choice to live a free and wonderful life with us.

As usual, I hope you’re not in too much pain from everything your kidnappers put you through.

And I hope that you will be able to find us very soon, as well as get your life and freedom back.

Everything that can be done for you is being done.
